Understanding the e-bike kits
Do you offer more power or higher wattage e-bike
kits?
Our e-bike kit already allows the brushless hub motor to operate at 750W through
output , there are plenty of juice in our kit even for the demanding users.
Other seller advertise 1000W motors, but its just not possible. A true
1000W brushless motor/wheel kit would weight about 50 lbs. If an e-bike
kit offers 1000W motor but weights less then 50 lbs, then chances are they are
just using a 500W motor but over volting / over loading to make the motor run at
1000W capacity. Please also note that our kit already meets the maximum
allowable speed limit in USA and Canada, anything claiming to go faster is just
illegal.
Front wheel kit or rear wheel kit?
Front wheel kit is easy to install and maintain, recommended for all users
and most popular amongst the buyers. This setup also balances the weight
of the bike once you mounted the lithium battery back on the rear rack.
Rear wheel kit is more difficult to install, and is only recommend for people
that are mechanically skilled or professional bike technicians, (most bike shops
just charge about $50 for an e-bike kit installation). We suggest using
the rear wheel kit if your bike's front fork is made of aluminum.
To determine if the front fork is aluminum or not, simply place a magnet on the
front fork, if the magnet sticks, then it is metal and you can use the front
wheel kit. If it doesn't stick, then its aluminum and a rear kit is highly
recommended.
Range or travel distance
*Range or travel distance depends on many factors. Our range
estimations are realistic, we do not overstate our estimates and based the
numbers on a typical rider, under various riding conditions, and cycling
methods.
Bike's fork width requirement
The minimum width required for the front fork is 8.5cm, and the rear is 13.5cm.
Warranty
6 months warranty on the entire kit. With normal operation,
this kit should provide many years of hassle free, maintenance free operation.
